Weight Loss Program: Losing Weight Without “Dieting” I get many calls from individuals who are seeking to lose weight. I love these calls as I know that I can help them learn how to enjoy their food more, improve their health though better nutrition, and most of all, end the damaging cycle of yo-yo dieting. Through nutrition counseling and hypnosis I can help you leave behind junk foods, processed foods, and foods full of empty calories as you begin to crave vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean proteins. I can help you feel excited about adding more movement to your life. I can help you feel good about making healthy choices instead of deprived and resentful about being on a “diet.” As you make these changes you can expect to see yourself release unwanted weight in a slow but steady way. Initial Consultation We start with your history of course, and then a discussion of changes that will improve your nutrient intake while reducing empty calories. When your body is getting the nutrients it needs you’ll find it easier to enjoy healthy foods in healthy portions. We also talk about strategies for success, such a making a list of all of the reasons you want to become more fit and healthy. Posting this list in places where you will help you stay on track. Second Visit On the second visit we do hypnosis, to bring your conscious and subconscious mind into agreement on your goals. Chances are you have been struggling against a “inner voice” which drives you to hold on to unhealthy habits such as sugar cravings or eating without awareness. With hypnosis you can begin to enjoy just the right foods in just the right amounts to allow you to release unwanted weight and feel excited about movement. What a relief! Subsequent Visits The number of return visits depends greatly upon your individual situation such as your readiness for change, and your emotional eating patterns. We will decide together how much additional assistance and support you need in order to make life long changes in your eating and exercise routines.
